EXACTLY HOW TO WORK YOUR PELVIC FLOOR

If you're having any issues with your pelvic floor - leaking, lack of control, hypertonicity, pain during sex, urgency for the toilet... it's almost guarranteed you don't know this stuff. It is so important that we give you 3 full tutorials (yes there's some anatomy but it's not boring -  honest) and step by step exercises to make sure you are successful right from the beginning. We do this because we love it  - and helping others is a principle we live by.  We want you to be amazed by your body and enjoy life to the fullest.

STRENGTH: THE 4 ESSENTIAL MUSCLES THAT CREATE PELVIC STABILITY 

You know, the big glute muscles (in your butt) link into the pelvic floor and over-compensate during pregnancy and postpartum.  This causes them to atrophy (essentially wear themselves out) and they drop tone. It's tongue in cheek - but "mum bum" is real.  It isn't age, it isn't you.  It's a natural physiological process from growing a human - and we fix it. It doesn’t matter what you want to create or pursue.  If you have a body that isn't working right you're gonna be tired.  We live by the belief that anything is possible with enough determination - and the right know-how. ASSESSING AND HEALING ABDOMINAL SEPARATION

An unhealed diastasis recti can be the cause of many problems years after kids - like pelvic organ prolapse, back pain and pelvic floor issues.  We teach you how to assess both the gap and the connective tissue that lies above and below. This way wherever you are personally at - it's taken care of.  We want to add value to everyone we interact with. That’s why we aim to support you every step of the way.  If something doesn't feel right when you self assess, we're right there to chat to - every day.  We've helped women heal abdominal separation years  (and years!) after they've had their kids.

BACK STRENGTH THAT LINKS THE SHOULDERS, NECK AND RIBS TO THE CORE 

It's all connected.  If you have back pain or feel weak when picking things up, chances are you have neck and shoulder tension too.  You may even have wrist pain and rib pain. Our upper body-back strengthening sessions link the whole lot to the core- so that everything works together as one perfect unit - exactly how it's designed. We give you personalised assessments so that you can tweak the sessions to be exactly what you need. Because let's face it - we wouldn’t be here if it wasn't for you. You help us fulfill our mission. We are also a little “crazy” on making sure we offer the best support. THE RIGHT PREP SEQUENCES TO LEAD INTO JOGGING, JUMPING AND LIFTING HEAVY THINGS (IF YOU WANT TO)

Levels 2 and 3 are amazing programs that get you jogging, jumping, lifting heavy things and doing the fun stuff in life - worry free.  Our bodies are born to move - as long as they are put into the right physiological environment. A lot of fitness programs these days do damage to the postpartum body.  They break down connective tissue, over-working the nervous system and causing entire muscle groups to shut down and switch off (constant fatigue anyone?). Your body is simply awesome - it can do all of those things, pain free, full of energy, (and actual enjoyment) when you follow the right sequence.  Too little work load - and nothing ever changes.  Too much work load - and you break.  That isn't your body.  That's the workout not being right for you.
